este nombre en honor a Benito Juárez. Este municipio se fundo
en 1886 en la hacienda del Álamo que perteneciera a la familia
Sánchez Navarro. Juárez nos ofrece atractivas opciones
turísticas, desde una muestra de su historia y riqueza natural
en la Casa de la Cultura: pasando por su folclor, sus fiestas y
su gastronomía en la que destacan el caldo y el filete de
pescado como sus dulces de calabaza y leche de cabra; hasta su principal
fuente económica, la presa Venustiano Carranza o de Don Martín,
en la cual se realizan deportes acuáticos y torneos de pesca.

place was given the name in honor to Benito Juarez, who was president
of Mexico during the 1860 decade and famous for his Reform Laws.
Juarez was founded in 1886 in the Hacienda del Alamo, which belonged
to the Sanchez Navarro family. It offers us with attractive tourisitic
options; from a sample of its natural resources and culture in “Casa
de la Cuiltura”; going through its folklore, celebrations
and gastronomy in which stands out the fish soup, and the candies
made of pumpkin and goat milk, to its main economic source , the
“Venustiano Carranza dam” (better known as Don Martin’s
Dam) in which water sports are practiced and fishing tournaments
